Had an appointment with a reluctant young lady, who was brought to see me by her concerned mum.
Initially she refused to come in, I shared a bit about my story while she sat in the car. Mum and I retreated to my office to have a chat and 20 mins later the young lady gave me her time and listened intently as I went through my coaching model and the emotional vessel.
When they left she had a smile on her face, she now has some tools to help her even if she doesn’t come back to do the programme.
It can be a scary prospect getting help from a stranger but hopefully that young lady saw today how I work and that I truly believe it is my job to earn her trust.
